Pendant la Fashion Week Haute-Couture j’ai été invitée à la présentation Haute Joaillerie de Boucheron sur la place Vendôme à Paris

During the Haute-Couture Fashion Week I was invited to the Boucheron Haute Joaillerie presentation at the place Vendôme in Paris

Boucheron, le premier joailler de la place Vendôme, a présenté sa nouvelle collection Serpent Bohème en hommage à l’amour entre Frédéric Boucheron fondateur de la Maison & son épouse Gabrielle. 2013, année du Serpent, animal emblématique & talisman protecteur de la Maison Boucheron, il est le symbole de l’amour & du bonheur éternel ♥

 

Boucheron, the first jeweller of the place Vendôme, has presented the new collection Serpent Bohème (Bohemian Snake) as a tribute to the love between Frédéric Boucheron founder of the Maison & his wife Gabrielle. 2013, year of the Snake, iconic & protective talisman of the Maison Boucheron, it’s the symbol of love & eternal happiness ♥

La collection Serpent Bohème comprend une vingtaine de pièces: Bagues, bracelets, boucles d’oreilles, sautoirs & montres. Elle célèbre une vie de bohème & de voyages en mettant à l’honneur "des bijoux qui traversent le temps & les frontières à l’image de Frédéric Boucheron & de ses nombreuses expéditions"

Une collection divine, sublime, je suis totalement amoureuse! ♥

The collection Serpent Bohème comprised of more than twenty pieces: Rings, bracelets, earrings, studs & watches. It celebrates the bohemian & travelling lifestyle showcasing "jewels that voyage across time & borders, just like Frédéric Boucheron & his many expeditions"

Pendant la Fashion Week Haute-Couture j’ai été invitée au Défilé Printemps-Eté 2013 d’Alexandre Vauthier au Palais de Tokyo à Paris :)

During the Haute-Couture Fashion Week I was invited to the Alexandre Vauthier Fashion Show Spring-Summer 2013 at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris :)

Avec Sushi nous avions un look hivernal Bompard/Levi’s/Burberry/Louboutin avec mes fabuleuses cuissardes Steiger. Un style fashion week parfait! ;)

With Sushi we wore a winter look Bompard/Levi’s/Burberry/Louboutin with my fabulous thigh-high boots Steiger. A perfect fashion week style! ;)

Le défilé Alexandre Vauthier fut un vrai show couture terriblement sexy & féminin où l’indécence troublante n’avait aucune limite ni aucune vulgarité car la femme Vauthier est sûre d’elle, contemporaine & ultra-désirable avec un look fatal & des chaussures Louboutin à se damner! Divin & enchanteur ♥

Alexandre Vauthier’s show was couture, sexy & feminine. The disturbing indecency had neither limitations nor vulgarity because the Vauthier woman is confident, contemporary & so desirable with a killing look & Louboutin shoes to die for! Divine & enchanting ♥

Expo Style: Helmut Newton

En Juillet, je suis allée voir avec Sushi l’exposition Helmut Newton au Grand Palais à Paris. L’occasion de découvrir le travail acharné de ce génie de la pellicule ♥

 

In July, Me & Sushi went to see the exhibition of Helmut Newton at the Grand Palais in Paris. The chance to discover the fierce work of this photography’s genious ♥

Un peu d’histoire: D’origine Allemande, né à Berlin en 1920 de famille juive, Helmut Newton fuit son pays pendant la guerre & passe plusieurs années à Singapour. A son retour, il se lance dans la photographie de mode. Mais l’artiste est particulièrement attiré par les femmes nues & ses photos sont marquées d’un érotisme évident avec une violence sous-jacente proche du sado-masochisme

Some history: Born in Berlin in 1920 in a Jewish family, Helmut Newton run from Germany during the WW2 & spent a few years in Singapore. Back, he started to work in fashion photography. But the artist is more interested in naked women & his photos are printed with an obvious eroticism with an underlying violence close to sadomasochism

Helmut Newton c’est l’audace, le glamour & l’humour. Précurseur du porno chic, il a travaillé pour les plus grands magazines de mode dont le célèbre Vogue. Ses clichés jouent sur l’androgynie, les nuances de clair/obscur & les détails choquants. Il a sublimé & célébré la sensualité de la femme tout au long de sa carrière sans retouche & sans tabou. Il signe également dans cette expo un certain nombre de portraits de célébrités dont Isabelle Huppert, Catherine Deneuve, Mme Claude ou même Jean-Marie Le Pen posant avec ses cerbères

Helmut Newton has bolding, glamour & humor. Precursor of the porn chic, he worked for the biggest fashion magazine including the famous Vogue. His pictures are playing with androgyny, clear/dark shades & shocking details. He sublimated & celebrated the woman’s sensuality during his entire career without alteration nor taboo. He also realized celebrities’ portrait such as Isabelle Huppert, Catherine Deneuve, Mme Claude or even Jean-Marie Le Pen posing with his dogs

Dans cet ensemble original, se dessine surtout une relation toute particulière entre un artiste & ses villes d’inspiration. Paris après Berlin fut un formidable terrain de jeu. Peut-être parce qu’il avait une vouait une passion certaine pour le créateur de mode Yves Saint-Laurent symbole du Paris chic de l’époque
D’ailleurs, l’affiche de l’exposition n’a sans doute pas été choisie par hasard quand on sait que le modèle a pris la pose en 1975, rue Aubriot dans le 4e, lieu de résidence du couple Helmut & June Newton 

In this original set, most important is the relation between the artist & his cities. Berlin, then Paris were a fabulous playfield. Maybe because he had a strong passion for the fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent symbol of the Paris chic back then

By the way, the exhibition poster wasn’t a coincidence when you know the model was shoot in 1975, rue Aubriot 75004, place of living of Helmut & June Newton

La magnifique rétrospective réunit plus de 200 clichés. Des nus, des photos de stars ou des célèbres portraits. C'est juste sublime

HelmutNewton: "Certains photographes font de l’art. Pas moi. Si mes photos sont exposées dans des galeries ou des musées, tant mieux. Mais ce n’est pas pour cela que je les ai réalisées. Je ne suis qu’un sbire"

Helmut Newton: "Some people's photo is an art. Mine's not. If they happen to be exhibited in agallery or a museum that's fine. But that's not why I do them. I'm a gun for hire"
