Shoes Style: Tribute to Manolo

Je vous ai dit que j’étais amoureuse des chaussures de Manolo Blahnik? :p

Manolo Blahnik est un créateur de chaussures que j’adore. Je l’ai découvert grâce à la série TV Sex & the City dont je suis une fan inconditionnelle
Carrie Bradshaw: "Oh mon Dieu! Tu sais ce que c’est ça? Les Mary Janes de Manolo Blahnik! Je croyais que ces chaussures étaient une légende urbaine!"

Manolo Blahnik est né aux Canaries en 1943. En 1965 il s’installe à Paris où il se lance dans la décoration de théâtre. Lors d’un voyage à New York, il rencontre Diana Vreeland éditrice à Vogue et lui montre ses croquis. Elle l’encourage à se consacrer exclusivement aux chaussures. C’est donc au début des années 1970 que l’artiste débute réellement sa carrière et connaît le succès à New York et Londres
Les chaussures de Manolo sont de véritables bijoux pour les pieds, très féminines, pour ne pas dire très sexy ♥

Le maître surnommé le sultan des talons trouve que la chaussure n’est pas qu’un accessoire pour la femme. Il nous conseille même: « Vous n’avez pas été fabriquées en série alors soyez unique! »

Manolo Blahnik is a shoe designer I just love. I discovered him while watching Sex & the City, I’m such a big fan of this TV show ;)
Carrie Bradshaw: "Oh my God! Do you know what these are? Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes! I thought these were an urban shoe myth!"

Manolo Blahnik was born in 1943 in the Canary Islands. In 1965 he moved to Paris to become a set designer. While he was travelling to New York, he met Diana Vreeland editor at Vogue and showed her his designs. She encouraged him to concentrate on shoes. Then at the beginning of the 70s he got successful in New York and London
Manolo’s shoes are jewels for the feet, very girly and very sexy ♥
